Ellie

Ellie is a 20 year old draft mule that used to be an Amish work mule, who lead a very hard life. She was found at a killpen and was rescued by Black Mountain View Draft Rescue in Thurmont, MD. We adopted her in July 2020. She has a very kind heart and is extremely forgiving. She lives a very happy and loving life on the farm now.

Hank

Hank is 10 years old and is the sweetest big guy. He loves treats, Trudy, taking naps and spending time with his kids that come to work work with him. He got to the farm April 2022 and it feels like he has always been here. He previously worked on a ranch out west, was used for trail riding and worked in another therapeutic program. He is one cool guy!

Daisy

Daisy is 12 years old and we bought her from a lady in North Carolina. Her previous owner had used her for hunting. She got to the farm June 2022. She loves food, Oliie and being with her herd. She is shy, but is starting to get settled in.

Trudy

Trudy is our farm's diva. She is very opinionated and makes us laugh. Trudy is 18 years old and definitely thinks she is bigger than she is. We bought her from a mule trainer in 2019 who took her in after her owner was no longer able to care for her. In her younger years, she was a lesson mule, but for the past 12 plus years she has enjoyed the good life of living in a field and getting treats. She is Syd's saddle mule and enjoys going on adventures around the farm and looking after Myrl and Haggard.

Haggard

Haggard is a 15 year old mini donkey who adores children, getting hugs, being groomed and just having you sit next to him. He was neglected and rescued by Lost Meadows Mule Refuge. He arrived at the farm with Myrl during April 2021.

Myrl

Myrl is a 16 year old mini mule that is as sweet as he is cute. He loves children, hugs, treats and going for walks. We adopted him from Lost Meadows Mule Refuge in Texas during April 2021.

Ollie

Ollie is the only horse on the farm, we say he is an honorary long ear. He is 21 years old and is enjoying the good life. He loves working with the kids who come to do sessions, hanging out with the long ears and getting treats, of course!
